Huge blown glass vases made using the fascinating

Huge blown glass vases made using the fascinating rostratum technique, enriched by chromatic and manual interventions. It is an ancient process that requires a particular speed of execution, concentration and precision. The hot glass is quickly worked with a special tool called "tagliol" which allows you to create a series of square shapes along the entire surface of the vase. Subsequently, through small pliers, each shape is stretched to form a tip which is called a spike.
The whole process has to be done in a very short time due to the high temperatures of the glass reaching up to 1000 degrees. The final result is a collection of vases with infinite shades, such as the shades of the blue color of the sea where each tip is like a drop of the sea and as such unrepeatable.
Each vase is therefore unique and conveys elegance and authentic beauty to the environment.

Enormi vasi in vetro soffiato realizzati attraverso l'affascinante tecnica del rostrato, arricchita da interventi cromatici e manuali. Si tratta di un'antica lavorazione che richiede una particolare rapidità di esecuzione, concentrazione e precisione. Il vetro caldo viene velocemente lavorato con un apposito strumento chiamato “tagliol” che permette di creare una serie di sagome quadrate lungo tutta la superficie del vaso. Successivamente, attraverso delle piccole pinze, ogni sagoma viene allungata fino a formare una punta che prende il nome di spike.
L'intero processo deve essere realizzato in un tempo molto ridotto a causa delle elevate temperature del vetro che arrivano fino a 1000 gradi. Il risultato finale è una collezione di vasi dalle infinite sfumature, come le sfumature del colore blu del mare dove ogni punta è come fosse una goccia del mare e come tale irrepetibile.
Ogni vaso è quindi unico e trasmette all'ambiente eleganza e autentica bellezza.

🇬🇧Glass blowing is a glass forming technique that involves inflating molten glass with the help of a rod. Whoever blows glass is called a "glass blower".
The transformation of raw material into glass occurs at around 1320 ° C; [16] the glass emits enough heat to appear almost warm white. It is then left to "thin" (allowing the liquid bubble to escape from the mass), and then the working temperature is reduced to about 1090 ° C. At this point, the glass appears to be a bright orange color. Although most blown glass is processed between 870 and 1040 ° C, the mix of silicon dioxide, sodium carbonate, calcium carbonate and other chemicals remains plastic and workable up to 730 ° C. Annealing is usually performed between 480 and 520 ° C.

🇮🇹 La soffiatura del vetro è una tecnica di formatura del vetro che prevede il gonfiaggio di vetro fuso con l'aiuto di una canna. Chi soffia il vetro è chiamato "soffiatore di vetro".
La trasformazione di materiale grezzo in vetro avviene intorno ai 1320 °C;[16] il vetro emette abbastanza calore per apparire quasi di un bianco caldo.
